We invite you to destress with Dr. Madan Bali (93 years young yoga Guru), Sharon Cohen (Naturopath and Wellness Specialist) and Dalia Marom (Yoga-Sound Healing Music).
This afternoon is dedicated to re-nourishing the self! Refill your mind, body and spirit with loving tender care, peace, joy and abundance.
We will explore a series of practices and inspiring exercises to awaken your full potential and create radical transformation that will enrich your everyday life.
I will begin the afternoon by sharing how you can best work with your internal pharmacy to calm stress hormones and create more relaxing ones.
Stress often starts in your head with a worry or a fear, but those feelings of anxiety affect the whole body. When you feel stressed, your body increases production of the stress hormones cortisol, adrenaline, and norepinephrine. This triggers the start of the stress response. which gains traction and speed…
Adrenaline, for instance, increases your heart rate, causing your heart to beat faster and ultimately raising blood pressure. Cortisol can interfere with the function of the inner lining of your blood vessels, triggering plaque buildup in your arteries which can lead to heart disease. Your brain then communicates with your gut, sending a message that you’re stressed, and your gut responds by slowing down digestion. This is why so many people who are chronically stressed experience so many digestive challenges. Learn to turn this addictive behavior around.
Dr. Madan Bali and Dalia Marom will then team up for some delicious sound healing, meditation and chanting. Come clear your energy field, release stresses from the outside world and create positive intentions for a fall season filled with health, happiness, healing and wholeness.
What is sound healing?
Sound healing is a very ancient healing tool used by eastern cultures for thousands of years combining a variety of instruments and rituals to help tame the body, mind and spirit and assist in finding inner peace. According to numerous health studies, sound and vibration has also had a very powerful healing effect on the body, especially in sickness and stressful times.
What can I expect from a sound bath?
-Tibetan Bowls, tingshas, gongs, rattles, chrystal pyramid, tuning forks, idopan drum in 432hz (healing vibration of the universe) and deep vocal vibrations.
-Chanting and Vocal Vibrations.
